Drawing and Painting for Beginnners
You will be introduced to a variety of techniques and the formal elements of painting and drawing. This will include, line, colour, texture, form, perspective and many more. You will also experiment with a wide range of mediums, ranging from pencil, charcoal, acrylics and oil and water-based mediums.

What You'll Need to Join:
No previous knowledge required but an interest in the subject area.
Training Course Content
The aim of the course is to develop your own creative pathway through fundamental painting and drawing techniques.
You will learn to employ the following:
- Line
- Shape
- Form
- Composition
- Negative space
- Chiaroscuro
- Tone
- Mark making
- Colour theory (learn to mix paints from a limited palette)
This course will challenge you to break down preconceptions and to develop your own ideas using traditional and experimental approaches, in both historical and contemporary contexts.
