During this course, you will work towards the City and Guilds IT (ITQ) Entry Level Certificate. You will develop the ability to use IT systems sensibly and purposefully to meet needs, to do so safely and securely in line with your organisational guidelines.

What You'll Need to Join:
- Evidence of benefit required at enrolment.
- Good level of written English and manual dexterity skills however you will be supported by your tutor with this.
- This course is suitable for complete beginners.

- Organising, storing and retrieving appropriately
- Understanding the need for safety and security practices
- Maintaining systems and responding to common IT system problems
- Inputting text and editing word processing documents
- Structuring information within word processing documents
- Using word processing software tools to format and present documents
- Using browser tools to navigate webpages
- Using browser tools to search for information from the internet and save webpages
- Using software to complete online forms
- Following and understanding the need for safety and security practices when working online
- Using email software to compose and send messages including attaching items
- Managing and responding to incoming emails
- Responding to common problems when using email.
