Course description

This NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) qualification will prepare you to become an early year’s educator or practitioner, which is also known as a nursery nurse. Upon successful completion of this qualification, you can apply for roles as early year’s practitioner and educator roles in an early year’s settings in which you will be working with children aged from birth to five years of age. The course covers the health and wellbeing of children and their learning, play, and development to prepare them for school. You will also study the legislation, frameworks, and professional practice involved in working in an early year's setting. You will also earn 32 UCAS points once you have successfully completed your course which can be used to support your application to study a related higher education degree. This NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) plus Functional Skills Maths and English bundle course will allow you to achieve the Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2 qualifications you need to work as an early year's educator/practitioner or nursery nurse. Please note that you must complete the Functional Skills exams to achieve your qualification. You can choose to add your exams to your enrolment, and we will save you the hassle of booking them, giving you more time to dedicate to your studies. If you do not add your exams to your enrolment, you will be responsible for booking and paying for your exams by liaising directly with your chosen exam centre.
