VRQ Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care
This is a vocationally related qualification that aims to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of how to work in end of life care, the support needed to manage pain and discomfort, how dementia impacts on end of life care, the role of the care worker in time of death, the loss and grief process. This qualification is designed for a wide range of learners who wish to gain an understanding of end of life care.
To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Understanding End of Life Care, learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the units as detailed in the qualification specification. Grades are not awarded. The Level 2 Certificate in Understanding End of Life Care is internally assessed.
