Course description
This course is for those who are in a supervisory/ Management role such as head green keepers/ groundsmen, head gardeners and first assistants. You will be expected to attend College every other week for afternoon and evening lectures. The Framework includes: Occupational Qualification - Diploma in Work-Based Horticulture level 3, Functional Skills in English and Maths level 2, Employment rights and responsibilities, Personal learning and thinking skills. Pathways: Horticulture, Production horticulture, Landscaping, Sports turf – greenkeeper, Sports turf – groundsman, Parks, gardens and green spaces.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Students need to have GCSE grades A-E or equivalent. If you have an equivalent qualification, we will also take this into consideration, along with any industry experience you may have.
