This online course introduces the facilities and capabilities of modern telecoms services for residential customers including telephony, broadband, and mobile services.
This course is designed in particular for customer service agents and retail sales representatives working in the telecommunications sector. This online course keeps technical detail to the absolute minimum necessary to gain an appreciation of telecoms services.
he course begins by describing the meaning of the terminology used to describe the performance of digital communications links. The performance and applications of various types of link are then explained. The remainder of the course describes the facilities, capabilities and applications of modern telephone services, fixed line broadband services and mobile telephone and broadband services. The course includes a discussion of the factors that affect the performance of such services.
This course includes online assessment. A certificate of completion is awarded by PTT to successful participants.
