This course will introduce you to the basic skills and techniques for guitar playing. Music classes may contribute to an improved well-being which will benefit you at home. You will learn: How to tune the guitar; Basic chords; How to accompany songs by strumming; How to play single string tunes; Songbook format.

What do I need to know?
This course is specifically for beginners, that is, people with little or no knowledge of playing the guitar. If your tutor assesses you differently, you will be asked to transfer to a course of a more appropriate level. This course requires a full commitment to learning by attending every session and arriving on time.
