This qualification training course leading to the nationally recognised ILM Level 7 Diploma for Coaching Supervisors equips professional coaches with the supervision skills and knowledge needed to practice as confident and competent coaching supervisors.  Enabling enables participants to apply different coaching supervision methods, as best suited to their organisational culture and development needs.

Training Course Content

The ILM Level 7 Diploma for Coaching Supervisors programme consists of three mandatory units:

  • Understanding the Principles and Practice of Effective Coaching Supervision of Coaches -aims to provide the learner with an understanding of the principles and practice required for effective coaching supervision of coaches
  • Reflecting on Your Ability to Perform Effectively as a Coaching Supervisor of Coaches -aims for the learner to critically review and reflect on own ability to perform effectively as a coaching supervisor of coaches
  • Undertaking an Extended Period of Effective Coaching Supervision of Coaches -aims for the learner to undertake a minimum of 60 hours of effective coaching supervison.  A minimum of 50 hours must be spent supervising individual coaches and a maximum of 10 hours may be spent on group supervision.

Great opportunity.

The opportunity to use supervision support with the coaching delegates was fantastic. It helped with real play instead of role play.
