How to Use Your Sewing Machine - Beginners: Are you too nervous to start using your sewing machine? Don't worry, we can show you the basics!
You can bring in your own sewing machine, or learn how to use one of our Berninas. You'll be shown how to do the basics, and also progress onto different techniques using some more unusual feet attachments on a sewing machine. On our great practical course you will:
Learn about threading, tension, straight stitch, seam neatening, also a range of practical decorative stitches.
Gain Knowledge in how to use some different machine feet to create more unusual effects.
Improve your machine skills.
Make samples.
**Important information** If you wish to bring your own machine, please bring the manual and make sure the machine is P.A.T. tested. (Portable Appliance Testing).
5 metres of calico fabric will be available on course to purchase for a small fee, or you can bring your own.
