Course description
What will I learn?
This is a short course which is designed to give you an understanding of the CELTA course. It will enable you to learn about what the CELTA course covers, in particular the demands of the course and finally what you can do after you have attained the CELTA qualification. Please note it is highly recommended you attend one of these Tasters before considering a place on the CELTA course itself. This short course will enable you to learn about the structure and content of the CELTA course as well as the demands and rigors of the course. You will learn about how you are assessed on the course and how the college manages the assessment requirements of the course. You will learn about how we screen and interview candidates for the course and what our expectations of you as a learner are whilst you are on the course.
What do I need to know?
There are no formal entry requirements for this Taster course. However, you should have a good command of the English language; at least to IELTS level 6.0. You should also be able to read English to a Level 3 standard. And be able to clearly communicate in English. Please note that these are the Entry requirements for this Taster course and not the Entry requirements for the CELTA course itself.
