Course description
Screenprinting Processes: This introductory course will give you a good overview of silkscreen printmaking. You will be working with paper and photographic stencils using acrylic water based printing inks. This course will give you a basic grounding in making silkscreen prints You will make a series of prints from simple paper stencils and then develop photographic stencils.
Course aims:
� You will learn how to apply a UV sensitive emulsion stencil to a screen.
� You will learn how to print a screen in several layers of ink to get a coloured image.
� You will learn how to design a basic screen print for fabric or paper.
� You will learn safe working in a print studio environment.
