Course description
Stained Glass � Contemporary and Traditional - Beginners: Explore the art of stained glass on this short course. Make a small hanging panel and explore colour, tone and line through glass. We will start from the beginning taking in glass cutting, decoration, leading and soldering to complete a wonderful translucent stained glass window for your home. During this course, you will gain hands-on experience of a variety of glass techniques and will explore colour, transparency and texture through glass. The course is structured to help you progress towards making a finished panel by the end of the course. With this in mind, please come to the first session with ideas or pictures relating to what you would like to create. Existing templates are also available to copy from.
Techniques will include:

� sandblasting and hand-painted resists

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience. You are welcome to focus on individual projects, renovations, repairs or something completely new and experimental. Sessions will involve demonstrations, one to one assistance and group tuition.
