The Risktec Assessed Diploma (RAD) in Risk and Safety Management is a programme designed by practitioners for practitioners looking to prove their commitment to the risk and safety profession.
Based on the same content and learning outcomes as the Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip), the Risktec Assessed Diploma has a lighter level of assessment that is ideal for professionals who have less time available for university-level study. The RAD programme consists of 12 modules. Choose any 12 from a suite of 19 modules. You are required to submit eight 1,000 word assessments. The modules cover a range of key risk management topics including Hazard Assessment, Risk Reduction & ALARP, HSE Management Systems and Incident Investigation among others.
The Diploma programme is completed in an average time of 12 months and can act as a standalone qualification, or as a step towards the more advanced Assessed Masters in Risk and Safety Management.

The RAD is suitable for any professional seeking to implement practical risk management in high hazard industries, including oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, nuclear, mining, transportation, conventional power and renewables.

Candidates are required to submit eight 1,000 word assessments.
Course format & materials
For clients who select distance learning, enrolment on the course gives students access to the Risktec Online learning environment. The module material includes slides and explanatory notes plus references to further reading and useful websites. Students engage in online activities including tests, discussions and group tasks. Support from the module teacher is available throughout the programme.
For clients who select face-to-face classroom delivery, the programme is scheduled according to their specific requirements.
