The Future Focused Leader is a senior leadership development programme which introduces you to a new leadership paradigm so that you can navigate successfully through this complex landscape.  The best leaders know how to apply the skills of critical judgement, to stay present in the ‘now’ whilst re-directing and growing an organisation of and for the future, through its collective purpose, culture and system.

Programme Outline

This programme consists of 10 learning modules with two online coaching sessions over the course of the three months following completion of the programme.

Module One:


Identify the elements required to scope an organisational future and demonstrate how to bring these elements together into an organisational plan.

Module Two:


Articulate a compelling shared vision to empower the whole organisation and demonstrate how to use storytelling techniques to create inspiring organisational narratives.

Module Three:


Understand how to develop a plan to align organisational and wider societal goals to meet your organisation’s triple bottom line.

Module Four:


Demonstrate how to analyse and diminish intra-organisational boundaries to communication and collaboration.

Module Five:


Use scenario planning as a tool for organisational preparedness.

Module Six:


Understand your organisation as a complex eco-system and apply complexity models to assist in decision making.

Module Seven:


Develop practices for fostering innovation in your organisation and identify where and how innovation could be applied in your organisation.

Module Eight:


Critically analyse case studies to derive practices and approaches to innovation appropriate to your organisation.

Module Nine:


Analyse and make sense of micro and macro trends and how they impact your organisation’s strategic direction.

Module Ten:


Use the creative power of dialogue in leading change and to embed a culture of learning in your organisation.
