Course description
Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship: This apprenticeship prepares you for work in Health & Social Care roles such as Support Worker or Care Assistant. You need to enjoy supporting others, have a responsible attitude and be committed. You will complete the Care Certificate, a Level 2 Diploma in Care and a self-reflection task at the end of your programme, which will be submitted to the End PointAssessor to prepare for your professional discussion.Please note, unless you already have grade 9-4 (A-C) in maths and English, you will need to study up to Level 2 in these subjects.

Suitability - Who should attend?
� You should be at least 16 years old.� A job as an apprentice in a Health & Social Care setting for a minimum of 30 hours a week (this will include one day in College per week).� You must pass an initial assessment in English & maths.� You will have an interview.� A clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the start of the course.
