Course description
Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship: You will develop your knowledge and skills with topics including double-entry bookkeeping, preparation of final accounts for the sole trader and partnership, costings, professional ethics, indirect tax and spreadsheets. You could progress straight in to job roles such as a Trainee Accounting Technician or Assistant Accountant. Alternatively, you can move on to further study in a subject related to accounting, such as an AAT Professional Diploma in Accountancy.

Suitability - Who should attend?
� An apprenticeship vacancy in your chosen area.� You will have an interview.� These will be set by the employer, but typically include 4 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including grade 4 (C) or above in English & maths.� You must pass an initial assessment in English & maths.
