Course description
Award in Education & Training (AET) Level 3: If you want to take the first steps in to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, then this is the course for you. It is an ideal stepping stone if you would like to progress on to a full teaching will be introduced to the foundations of teaching, learning and assessment covering areas such as teaching roles and responsibilities, planning for learning and assessment. Ideally, you will have a relevant vocational and/or academic qualification of at least the level above that of the learners you wish to teach and a minimum Level 3 qualification in your specialist area. As this is a Level 3 course, you will be expected to have a good standard of written and verbal English and prior to enrolling you will take an assessment to confirm this. You willalso be expected to have a good level of maths and ICT.
