Children's Learning & Development (Early Years Educator) Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3): This is ideal if you have completed an Intermediate Apprenticeship or Childcare Level 2 and would like to work with children aged 0-5 (with a working knowledge of 5-7 year olds). You will ensure children are looked after, kept active, happy and nourished, while helping them to develop social & practical skills. This will prepare you to work in childcare roles such asEarly Years Practitioner and Room Leader. Successful completion of this qualification will help you to secure work and potentially progress in to a management role.

Suitability - Who should attend?
� You must be 18 years or over.� A job as an apprentice in an Early Years setting for a minimum of 30 hours a week (this will include one day in College per week).� You will need a minimum of 1 year�s relevant industry experience and/or a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.� You must pass an initial assessment in English, maths & ICT.� A GCSE at grade 4 (C) or above in English.� You will have an interview.� A clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the start of the course.
