Course description
Environmental Conservation Work-Based Level 2 Diploma: Gain work-based specialist skills and experience in Environmental Conservation, with units which develop your practical and professional skills. Topics you will study include: monitoring and maintaining health & safety, maintaining good environmental practice, preparing & conducting field surveys, maintaining equipment & machines, habitat establishment & management and constructing & maintaining paths & need to be working (full or part-time) in the industry in order to gain the practical experience required to complete the course. Assessment is through completion of a portfolio of work, including practical observations and written work. On successful completion of this course, you can progress on to an Environmental Conservation Level 3 programme or a Horticulture Level 3 Diploma programme.
