Fitness Instructing NCFE Level 2 Certificate - Intensive: The Fitness Instructor course provides the opportunity to gain employment in the health and fitness industry. The course is suitable to those who have few or no qualifications but have a keen interest in health and fitness or those seeking to change their career. The fitness instructor course provides knowledge using both practical and theory sessions about how the body works, the components of fitness, principles of training, as well as equipping you with the skills to design programmes using a variety of gym equipment, including resistance machines, CV machines and free weights and how to lead a safe and effective warm-up and cool-down while promoting safe instruction.Assessment is via completion of 5 work packs and 2 practical observations of your capabilities to provide safe and effective gym instructing. Once completed, the course provides you with the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills further and progress to courses such as the Level 3 Personal Trainer and to become certified with the Registry of Exercise Professional�s (REPs) & tensive 6 day programme (Start dates in January 2020 and June 2020 to be confirmed on request).
