Course description
What will I learn?
This short course introduces you to the Level 3 horticulture programme, giving you an opportunity to discover your ability and the possibility of a new career direction. The units covered include tree and shrub identification, care and maintenance, the construction and design of rockery and water garden features, as well as presenting planting schemes and designs. Successful completion of the course will lead to a Level 3 Certificate in Horticulture (30 credits) and provide progression to a full Level 3 Diploma (90 credits). You will need a Level 2 qualification in Horticulture or related subject or proven academic ability to study at Level 3.Admission is by a short, informal discussion - please phone to register your interest.
