Course description
Pilates for Improvers with Kirsten Bicat: This course is suitable if you have had at least six weeks of recent experience of Pilates. You will build on your basic Pilates knowledge and experience with slightly more challenging moves than the Beginners level. Before joining this class, you will need to be able to follow these basic principles: hold neutral spine position, lateral breathing (thoracic) in to the ribs (not the belly), and engage the core/lower abs (transversus abdominis). These basics are covered in the Beginners courses.Please bring a Pilates (not yoga) mat, soft yoga block (or large towel) and a tennis ball and wear comfortable clothing.
