Children�s Play, Learning & Development BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma: This course will give you a comprehensive introduction to progress directly on to employment, to an apprenticeship or an Early Years Educator qualification. You will study all aspects of how children develop, literacy & numeracy skills, play & learning, how to support children�s early learning, keeping children safe, paediatric first aid and more. You will also complete a work placement for 400 hours per year to give you a practical insight in to the industry. Please note, you need to buy a College polo shirt (approx �14).

Suitability - Who should attend?
� 4 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English & maths. If you do not have grade 4 (C) or above in English & maths you will be expected to re-take that subject in Year 1.orA full Level 2 at Merit grade or above, with maths and English grades equivalent to those stated above.� A clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the start of the course.� Enthusiasm for working with children.
