Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties Level 2 Certificate: These distance learning courses start on a regular basis and will enhance the knowledge of anyone working in Health & Social Care, improving their practice and also counting towards their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).You must be 18 or over to enrol. These courses require a good level of English and you will take an assessment held at Shipley College to confirm your place. These courses are delivered via distance learning and take up to 14 weeks to complete. To succeed on a distance learning course, you must be motivated to meet deadlines and produce detailed quality work without supervision.Normally, the fees are �300, but a 100% fee reduction may apply to you if you are in receipt of benefits and actively seeking employment or employed and on a low income.All distance learning courses start on the following dates: 04/09/19, 03/10/19, 04/11/19, 07/01/20, 05/02/20, 05/03/20, 30/03/20, 05/05/20, 10/06/20 and 02/07/is qualification will provide you with knowledge of different specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Autism. You will learn about how they are diagnosed, their impact and how individuals can be supported. You will also learn about other conditions that may co-exist with learning difficulties, such as ADHD, and the effects of the conditions on day to day living.
