Course description
This course is structured to develop practical spoken Korean and to provide grammatical understanding and essential vocabulary and expressions. Students will develop the language skills to communicate within a range of situations and everyday life. Students will be able to talk about various topics in different contexts.
The topics are designed to develop well-balanced skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Each session will provide pronunciation practice, revision of previous sessions, grammar explanation, vocabulary and fixed expression/phrases, and conversation practice, followed by plenty of activities and consolidation. Homework will be given at each session and will be checked thoroughly by the teacher. Throughout the term the teacher will monitor students’ progress informally and formally.
By the end of the course, students will have built up real communicative language skills and a good understanding of grammar. Students who have completed the whole beginners’ course can continue to Korean Elementary 1.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Students at this level should have already mastered basic conversationand essential grammar. They will also have built up knowledge ofvocabulary and phrases to use in daily conversations.
