This course is suited to learners who aspire to work as a personal assistant, in an office based or customer service environment. It teaches you a range of skills including how to: Work in an administration environment and team work, Writing business documents, Organising business travel and accommodation, Organising meetings and handling diary systems. You will have a presentation from the head of MIS (management information systems), Human resources, Solihull MBC. There will also additional trips to show the importance of administration in organisations.
You will be studying via a variety of assessment methods including role plays, presentations, written reports, posters, displays and video clips. You will be working on assignment briefs designed by expert tutors, using employer’s feedback to ensure the content is up to date. On completion, you will receive Business and Administration level 3 NVQ Diploma OCR. On successful completion of this one year course, you will have several options to decide from including an apprenticeship, an access programme, a foundation degree at Oxford Brookes, or employment.
