This course will provide you with the recognised GCSE qualification in Mathematics. There are various opportunities for progression once you have completed this course depending on whether you wish to improve your employability or progress onto other courses including Teacher Training. GCSE in Mathematics will provide you with the essential skills required for success in your chosen field. The specification covers the GCSE Mathematics National Curriculum. The specification is divided into Number, Geometry, Statistics and Algebra. You will be assessed by three examinations (two with calculator and one non-calculator).
