This qualification will give you a basic understanding of childcare and education. It will help you make an informed choice about working with children and young people, whilst developing your understanding of the fundamentals of working with children.

Suitability - Who should attend?
To be eligible you must be aged 19+ and have lived in the EU for more than 3 years.

- Unit 03 - Importance of play for early learning.
- Unit 04 - Young children’s development.

This course is FREE if you are aged 19+ and have lived in the EU for the past 3 years and currently living in England outside of Greater Manchester, Liverpool City, Cambridge & Peterborough, Tees Valley and West Midlands. If you have not lived in the EU for the past 3 years, please contact us to discuss.

Course progression
On completion of this course, there are a number of progression routes: The Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or the Level 2 Certificate in an Introduction to Early Years Education and Care.
