Course description
Introduction
Learn to use Adobe's industry standard illustration based software. This course will help you to create illustrations for the world of fashion and its associated marketing, branding and advertising. You will learn to use a wide variety of tools and their effects and create artwork for the web, printing and desktop publishing.
There will be projects on different subjects on a simple step by step basis.
This course is aimed at students who are already involved in fashion design and illustration or are thinking of a career change. It covers the following:
Creating fashion illustrations using layers, colours, gradients, textures and patterns.
Creating fashion and fashion accessories using layers, the Pen tool and brush tool effects.
Creating fashion illustrations and graphics in different styles for branding and advertising.
Preparing files for desktop publishing and print, websites and social media.
Assessment
There is group and one to one tuition. Constructive advice and problem solving of students own work will also be given.
