Course description
Introduction
This part-time course is perfect if you are looking for a qualification as the starting point for a career in bookkeeping and accounts.
The course covers a range of basic bookkeeping techniques including:
Trial balances
Petty cash
Cash accounts and bank reconciliation
Double entry book-keeping
Simple trading and profit and loss accounts
Assessment
You will be continually assessed by your tutor and there will also be an external examination at the end of the course.

After completing this course you can progress to the Level 2 course.

No formal entry requirements but students must demonstrate good numeracy and Literacy skills. Non native English speakers should have International English.
