Introduction
This course provides a supportive environment for people who have no or very little experience of Microsoft Excel. The course is also suitable for people who have some experience of Excel but lack confidence. This course will teach you the fundamentals
Explain the key features of Excel Navigate your way around Excel Use key terms e.g. ribbon, row, column, cell Use correct data formats e.g. number, text, date, currency Make clear and readable spreadsheets Use formulae to add, subtract, multiply and divide Solve practical problems with spreadsheets Make simple charts
Assessment
Observation of tasks by your tutor and question and answer sessions.
