Course description
Introduction
This course gives you the chance to explore a range of techniques in yoga. Yoga is about bringing harmony into your own life through a balance of physical exercises combined with concentration and breathing control.
It's suitable for all ages and you'll work within your own limits to increase strength, suppleness and stamina. You'll need to bring a large towel or blanket and wear comfortable clothes suitable for working on the floor. All yoga courses teach basic postures so that the whole body is safely exercised.
Assessment
Tutor feedback, individual learning plans, peer and self-assessment.
Next Steps
Move on to another course to practise your technique or a different wellbeing programme e.g. mindfulness.
