Course description
Introduction
This course is aimed at interpreters and translators, both prospective and those already working in the community, who wish to familiarise themselves with foundations of medical terminology.
We will cover the main body systems and functions as well as common symptoms and conditions associated with them. Students can gain a more systematic knowledge of medical terminology and better understanding of how a human body works. If you study community interpreting, DPSI (law) or wish to revise medical terminology, this course is for you.
