Course description
Introduction
First impressions count when promoting your business. Regardless of your products or services, photography will inevitably be used for promotions, publicity and advertising.
This course is aimed at people engaged in small businesses who want to take their own photographs and enhance them in Adobe Photoshop (the industry standard digital imaging software).
You will learn:
How to use your digital compact or SLR camera to take well composed and exposed photographs.
How to download and archive your photographs onto a variety of computer related hardware and internet based cloud accounts.
How to use Adobe Photoshop software to enhance your selected photographs.
How to prepare your photographs for promotional printed material (catalogues, brochures and leaflets), specialist press (magazine editorial features), advertising (press and television), websites, email attachments, Facebook and YouTube.
Assessment
Group and one to one tuition. constructive advice and problem solving of students' own work.
