Course description
Introduction
This course will give you an introduction to a career in plumbing. You'll learn how to install, test and maintain hot and cold pipework and heating systems. The course will test practical and knowledge-based skills. You'll have visits to trade shows to help you see the latest developments in the industry. Our guest speakers are already successful in their roles and their advice will give you the inside view of what it's like to succeed and what employers are looking for.
Assessment
Continual assessment and nine online exams. You must pass all units.
Next Steps
Move up to the Level 3 Plumbing City & Guilds course or find work as an improver or plumber's mate. Or look for a plumbing apprenticeship.
