Course description
Introduction
This course will build on the skills and knowledge gained in your Level 2 Plumbing course. It will provide more in-depth installation and testing features for gas and oil heating systems and test your practical and knowledge-based skills. You'll have visits to trade shows to help you see the latest developments in the industry. Our guest speakers are already successful in their roles and their advice will give you the inside view of what it's like to succeed and what employers are looking for.
Assessment
Continual assessment plus five online and three written exams. You must pass all units.
Next Steps
You could progress into work as a plumber's mate and consider taking an NVQ in plumbing. You could also go on to higher education to develop contract and project management skills.
