Level 3 Procurement and Supply Assistant Apprenticeship
This level 3 apprenticeship is suitable for all organisations, the programme increases the apprentice’s competencies in procurement and raises the profile of procurement. Individuals will be competent in all stages of the procurement cycle and able to apply factual, procedural, and theoretical knowledge of procurement and supply.
Learners will be able to complete tasks and address problems that are well-defined but may be complex and non-routine. They will understand what relevant information is required and how to interpret and review their effectiveness.
Participants will be able to use their knowledge of procurement regulations/policies to support the wider procurement team in tasks such as quotation and/or tender response evaluation, supplier database maintenance, purchase order review and conversion, and stakeholder liaison.

Suitability - Who should attend?
The L3 Procurement and Supply Assistant Apprenticeship is suitable for those with little to no Procurement & Supply experience.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
There are 3 main elements to this apprenticeship: Knowledge, Gateway, and End Point Assessment
The Knowledge element takes approximately 15 months and includes the mandatory qualification – CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate (Part 1) plus the Knowledge and Application modules. Gateway to End-Point Assessment takes approximately 4 weeks followed by the End Point Assessment which takes 5-6 months. The maximum duration of this Apprenticeship is 24 months.

- L3M4 Team Dynamics and Change

- Part 2 Questioning Interview supported by Portfolio of Evidence
- Part 3 Work Based Project (3000 word), followed by presentation, question and answers

Continuing Studies
Upon completion, the learner can progress onto the L4 Commercial Procurement and Supply Apprenticeship.
