Fire Marshal - In-House Course in Fire Safety Regulation and Precaution
This in-house Fire Marshal course delivers the fire safety knowledge and skills necessary for individuals to successfully undertake the role of designated fire marshal in the workplace.
Delivered by St John Ambulance's expert trainers, the half day in-house programme explores current fire regulations and how to comply with these effectively. Candidates begin by addressing the common causes of fire and general fire precautions, and then go on to cover the more hands-on aspects including the use of different types of fire extinguisher.
St John Ambulance is an approved training provider by the Institution of Fire Engineers.
What students get on this in-house course
- A student training pack containing everything you need for this course and beyond, including a fire marshal reference guide, note pad and worksheet booklet
- No more than 12 students for each trainer, so plenty of one to one guidance
- Practice using different kinds of real fire extinguishers.
Suitability - Who should attend?
Anyone with responsibility for fire safety and evacuation in the workplace.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
Candidates are assessed through continuous observation by the trainer.
Successful candidates will receive a St John Ambulance certificate valid for three years.
