Watercolour Painting - An Introduction to Watercolour [SFY] [HDF144NZ]: OverviewAn introduction to watercolour painting techniques and basic drawing skills including how to lay down a wash, develop glazes and over glazes and colour mixing.
What will we cover?
This short course of 4 highly structured classes will give you an insight into possibilities useful to future painting/ drawings you undertake.
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
If you have some basic watercolour equipment and a desire to further your knowledge on how to use them then this is the course for you.
As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
Whatever watercolour equipment you have
Watercolour paper 12” x 16”, 200lb weight
Masking fluid (blue), masking tape, ruler and pencils.
What can I do when I finish the course?
Further courses are offered by Surrey Adult Learning with the opportunity to exhibit in regular learner-centred exhibitions where work can be sold and promoted.
