Course description
Situated on the edge of the city and close to the vibrant community of Brick Lane, the location provides the ideal opportunity to explore the local architecture and river environments, which have a very particular and changed atmosphere in the evening. Work will be explored through a series of talks, workshops and assignments.
Course aims and benefits:
Skills acquired during the course will include understanding and applying the zone system, metering, reciprocity failure for both analogue and digital systems, Photoshop for architectural night photography including noise reduction, perspective correction, colour balance and image rendering. Additionally, participants will be encouraged to foster an individual and critical approach to image making, enabling them to edit images for a body of work.
