What are the aims of the course?
Anyone working with or around food will require a good understanding of food safety. This course is designed to provide candidates with an appreciation of the fundamentals of good food hygiene practice.
This workshop covers:
Food safety hazards
Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding
Cooking, hot holding and reheating
Principles of safe food storage
Food premises and equipment
Our trainers are experienced food safety and/or environmental health practitioners.
What will I achieve?
This is a nationally recognised course and, following a short examination, successful participants will receive a Level 2 Food Safety in Catering certificate.
