Teacher (Level 6 Apprenticeship)
The Teacher apprenticeship provides the opportunity for an apprentice to follow the innovative school-based initial teacher training (ITT) programme run by The Learning Institute.
In house and offsite training is delivered through face-to-face and/or online lectures and includes support in the form of seminars, Q&A sessions, and coaching and mentoring for both the apprentice and the workplace mentor.
Following Initial Needs Assessment, an individualised programme for the 20% off-the-job training time is agreed with the employer. The Learning Institute will provide advice and guidance to the employer on the best way to arrange and support an apprentice, and assist in preparing the apprentice for End Point Assessment.
