What will I learn?
The world of fashion and textiles employs a wide range of skilled and creative individuals at all levels. If you are keen to learn how to make clothes, to develop your technical skills and tackle pattern cutting skills to improve your designs, this part-time course is perfect. Awarded by ABC, this course runs during the daytime and evening for around 34 weeks and is delivered at our Shena Simon and Openshaw campuses.

What do I need to know?
You don’t need to have any previous qualifications for this part-time course in pattern cutting and garment construction, but you should ideally have some general practical skills and certainly a willingness to try new things, and a strong interest in creating patterns and making wearable garments.
