What will I learn?
If you’ve already been working in the construction industry gaining hands-on experience and would now like to advance your knowledge and skills, this Level 3 Diploma in Painting and Decorating could be just the course for you. As part of the diploma, you’ll focus on the more technical aspects of painting and decorating, including applying hangings to walls and ceilings, as well as producing specialist architectural finishes for decorative work. You’ll also learn how to apply water-borne paint systems using airless equipment and high-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) spray equipment. You might be supervising others or managing resources and you will be ready to move into a senior role with more responsibility and expertise. This industry-recognised qualification can help you get there as you develop the advanced skills and abilities you need for the painting and decorating sector.

What do I need to know?
You should ideally have previously completed a Level 2 qualification in Painting and Decorating to enrol on this course, but we will take into account your previous experience too. You’ll be invited to take an initial assessment in English and maths and an interview with us, before we offer you a place on the course.
