The National Logistics Academy
The National Logistics Academy - Apprenticeship Training
The UK's first truly national logistics skills network
The decision to create The National Logistics Academy was stimulated by major logistics companies pressing us to provide training and development that met the following criteria:
- Uniform teaching and assessment throughout the UK
- Uniformly high quality and quality assurance
- Uniform learning materials
- Specialist logistics training expertise and knowledge
- A single point of contact and account management for delivery throughout the UK
- A system that informs them of learner progress without having to pick up the phone to multiple training locations, or ideally not pick up the phone at all
- A single invoice irrespective of where the training is carried out
The National Logistics Academy will provide the above criteria for Driver CPC, CPC, ADR, LGV licence acquisition and logistics apprenticeships.
We have assembled a nationwide network of very experienced specialist logistics training providers to deliver a uniform product from 45 locations throughout the UK, all working under a single brand. All customer contact will be through the Academy Centre in Manchester where staff will be able to monitor and report on all learners’ progress utilising a centralised system.
The system is very similar to that of pallet networks except our product is people development, instead of the movement of freight.
The National Logistics Academy offers apprenticeships in the following sector:
Logistics
Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver - piloting
Operations/Departmental Manager
Team Leader / Supervisor
Supply Chain Operator - Traffic Office
Supply Chain Warehouse Operative
Express Delivery Operative
