Course description
Construction is a broad industry that spans architecture, engineering, services and the trades. R&D claims for construction companies have attracted a lot of attention from HMRC, so it’s important to get them right.
In this course, we break down ‘Construction’ into areas of specialism. For each one, we look at:
- the types of companies involved
- the kinds of work they can claim for
- trends in technology across the sector
- examples of work that doesn’t qualify.
We also explain HMRC’s attitude to Construction claims, and highlight red flags to watch out for.
