In this course all aspects of copywriting are covered including: the AIDA formula Attention-Interest-Desire-Action and 'selling the sizzle', press advertising, PR materials, sales letters and follow-ups, copywriting for the Internet, TV and radio commercials, copywriting for charities and non-profit organisations. Students will learn how to sell themselves to potential clients. It contains 10 fact-packed modules and 6 assignments. All successful students will be awarded a Continuing Professional Development CPD Certificate.
Because of the effectiveness of the course, and the tuition service, we are able to give you two no-risk guarantees.
These state quite clearly:
1. You have the course on 15 day (in your possession) inspection.
2. We will give you a £10.00 refund for any assignment which is not corrected properly by your tutor.
These guarantees are your safeguard of a fair deal and high tuition standards from The Writers Bureau. They are our commitment to you.
We can do a lot to help you but we cannot do it all for you. In fact, the major contribution must come from you.
Firstly, you need to have a good understanding of the basics of written English including grammar, spelling and punctuation. Professional copywriters are considered to be experts in written English so your clients will expect your work to need little or no correction.
It’s also important that you are serious and committed to becoming a copywriter as, although the skills you’ll need are not difficult to master, you will need to work hard to succeed. But don't worry, we'll will match your commitment 100% with our own.
Lastly, you need to have at least some creative talent. You have to be able to devise new and exciting ways of promoting familiar products. However, if you are interested in a career as a copywriter or you have ever watched an advertisement and thought ‘It would be better if...’ it is likely that you already have the creative spark needed to build a successful copywriting career. And, just to help you along, we have included a whole module on how to develop your creative imagination.
So, if you really want the freedom of working flexibly as a freelance copywriter and you are prepared to put in the time and effort required, then together we can make it a reality!
