Course description
If you enjoy finding out about how electronic devices work and fancy designing your own circuits then the A Level in Electronics is for you. You may also be interested in computers and programming and these skills are taught on the course.
You should already have a good knowledge of the maths, algebra and the representation of all sizes of number. You will learn about the basic building blocks of circuits from the humble resistor to the multifunctional Integrated Circuit. The course will help those students wishing to study electrical and electronic engineering at university.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Students must hold 5 GCSEs at grade C or above in appropriate subjects. Successful A Level students would normally achieve a grade A or B in a number of relevant GCSE subjects.
