University of Huddersfield International Study Centre

The International Study Centre will help you take your first step towards a successful career. Based at the heart of the University of Huddersfield’s campus, we provide degree preparation programmes that are specifically designed for international students. Our courses will prepare you for the challenges of degree-level study and equip you with the academic knowledge, study and English language skills you need to succeed at the University of Huddersfield.

Once you successfully complete your programme at the International Study Centre and achieve the required grades, you can enter your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Prepare for university

You are a student at the University of Huddersfield from your very first day on campus. You’ll study and learn on campus and have full access to all University facilities, including the library, sports hall, and Students’ Union. At the International Study Centre, you will experience university-style teaching and develop your academic knowledge, English language level and employability skills.

Develop employability skills

All courses at the International Study Centre have an integrated careers and employability element that we call CareerAhead. We will help you develop keyemployability skills, discover what you’re good at and prepare for your future career.
