Course description
This course is aimed at people who are interested in digital photography and wish to develop creative compositions. You will require a digital SLR camera or compact digital camera with full SLR functions. This course is ideally suited to those that have some experience using their digital camera and familiarity with using computers. If you have very limited experience in using computers it would be advisable to under-take a basic IT course before enrolling on this programme.
By the end of the course you should be able to:
1. Confidently use your camera modes and menus.
2. Understand the principles of, aperture, shutter speeds, exposure.
2. Demonstrate a practical understanding of camera technique and composition.
3. Confidently edit your digital files (selecting your best images)
3. Demonstrate a basic understanding of managing your digital files.
4. Confidently downloading images.
5. Confidently printing your images in a variety of methods.
6. Demonstrate an awareness of making creative photographs
